Recent Purchases

January, its not the most lavish month of the year is it! I'm sure along with many others I have been reigning in my spending this month but I have made a few cheeky purchases that I am very excited about.

Ah good ol' Hydralauron, this seems to be in every beauty bloggers skin care routine. You may have read in my post here that I am trying to get myself a "skin care routine" rather than just grabbing any product and hoping it does the trick so after seeing Hydraluron appear in so many blog posts and YouTube videos I figured it must be worth the hype. I have previously been advised that my skin is dehydrated and that makes it produce extra oil to compensate for this so I should look for hydration in my skin care products and shine reducing qualities in make up products. I used to use products for oily skin as this is what I thought I had due to getting a bit shiny throughout the day. After reading about Hydraluron it seemed to be just what I need to help rehydrate my skin, I bought this at the beginning of January so have been using it for a while now and I think its safe to say it is going to be a staple in my evolving skin care routine.

I have not used anything from the Dead Sea Spa Magik brand before but I came across this on mybeautycompare.com (I recently reviewed the website here, if you want to see what it's all about) and it was actually a product that was recommended for me. I checked out reviews on the Super Night Cream and they all seemed to be glowing, also when I looked into the product itself it was described as great for dehydrated skin and contains minerals from the Dead Sea, so I decided to go ahead and order it. This is a very recent purchase so I am yet to use it but I'm excited to try it out.

Another product that has received a lot of attention in the beauty blogger world is Seche Vite top coat. I love spending time painting my nails but there's nothing more frustrating than it only lasting a day before it chips so I am always on the look out for ways to make manicures look fresher for long and legend has it this little beauty does just that whilst also being quick drying with a super glossy finish.... All my wishes come true, lets just hope its lives up to these high expectations.

I'm so excited to try this Nspa hot cloth cleanser, it was recommended to me by Abigail aka @_tuesdaysgirl (click here to visit her fab blog) way before Christmas but I've only just got round to buying it, perfect timing though as I've just got to the end of my No.7 cleanser. I'm really loving using a hot cloth cleanser I find it nice and relaxing and I feel like they get deep into my skin and thoroughly cleanse it. I cant wait to try this one.

An unusual end to a post but as this mischievous little monkey decided to make taking photos almost impossible I figured she wanted her own space on my blog. So here she is interweb.... Meet Tiger Lily!

I'm looking forward to trying this lot out! what have you been buying lately? what's on your wish list?

    1. You're welcome. :-) I agree with you, some Bourjois products are great like their mascaras and colour boost lip crayons but I remember their bio detox foundation gave me an orange complexion. Healthy Mix foundation is my favourite Bourjois product. :-)
