Santa's Been - What I Got For Christmas

Well It's all over for another year, I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas! I've not had much time for blogging lately, this is partly due to work and also down to thoroughly enjoying the festive season and all that comes with it, family, friends, food, drink and it turns out that Santa thought I have been a super good girl this year and delivered me some fabulous goodies for me to open on Christmas morning.

After enjoying reading similar posts I though it would be fun to share with you all ** in a photo heavy post** some of the sheer delights that Santa delivered to me.

This year the Mr did good! What a lucky lady I am. First up I got an iPad mini, this was to replace my first generation iPad that would no longer update ** cheers Apple** so an upgrade was definitely required and I love the gorgeous coral coloured Smart Cover that he bought me to go with it, although He was annoyed as he said the colour was described as pink but personally I love the colour. Next I received a large Hurricane Lantern with the candles wrapped separately, we saw this before Christmas in John Lewis and both said how fab it would look on our dining table. We weren't wrong its a great finishing touch, I'm so glad he bought it. Inside the Lantern was this super cute Boofle teddy in a reindeer onsie, He bought me one of these as one of my presents for our first Christmas together, now he has a little friend to keep him company.

Finally in my stash of pressies were these amazing Essie treats, I haven't tried the glittery top coats or the nail wraps before so I can't wait to try these out and such great colours too.

My Mum got me this AMAZING Kurt Geiger cross body bag, I picked this out before Christmas so I knew I was getting it but still very excited to open it and finally be able to use it. I love the size of this bag as its big enough for me to carry around the essentials and no space for unnecessary paraphernalia that always seems to find its way into my bigger bags and weigh me down. I like that the long strap is both gold chain and leather as it means it is comfortable on the shoulder rather than having the chain digging in and will be great for days trips or nights out alike.

Every Christmas my Mum always gets me Betty Boop ** fellow 80's kids will remember her** stocking fillers and this year she got me a Make up bag with matching compact mirror, a coin purse and a wine glass. Such cute designs and all useful things, the mirror has already found its space in my KG bag.

I also received some fab pressies from other family members and friends. A lovely neutral coloured snood from Next will keep me cosy in the winter and the super cute kitty socks will be sure to keep my tootsies toasty. I have read a lot about Lush in other bloggers posts but have never tried anything from there before so I was delighted to receive this snow fairy gift set and can't wait to use it. Being into beauty also means that I loved receiving the make up and nail bits, I have not heard of the make up brand New <id London Cosmetics before but I will enjoy trying it out.

Who doesn't love to receive jewellery, especially at Christmas. These bangles in silver, rose gold and gold are timeless classics that will add a bit of glam to many outfits, I will get a lot of wear out of these.

It wouldn't be Christmas without getting a few sweet treats to nibble on whilst watching festive films, cosied up on the sofa on dark winter nights. These treats will also be great for easing the post Christmas blues... Along with a mince pie or two!

I am such a lucky girl to have received such great gifts from my wonderful friends and family. I hope you all had a great Christmas and got exactly what you wanted from Santa. If you have done a post like this let me know in the comments below, I love reading these kind of posts and will be sure to have a read.
