At the weekend I went to a local Bonfire Night event, it was lots of fun and I thought for this weeks NOTW post I would share with you my nail colour of choice. I'm pretty sure my brand of choice will come as no surprises to you...
So for my fun night at the fire works (and lets not forget the fair and the One Direction tribute band, oh yeah no expense spared) I chose the latest edition to my nail polish family, Essie's After School Boy Blazer - What a cute name! This is my second colour from the autumn collection and I am totally in love with this deep blue shade that looks almost black, as the nights draw in and the wintery weather rears its cold wet head this is the perfect shade for this season. As much as I have a lot of love for the colour this is the first Essie polish I have had a little trouble with applying. The first coat was streaky in places but the second coat evened this out, you must make sure you have enough product on the brush and cover the full nail properly ( I had to redo one of my thumbnails as the second coat was a bit too thin in places and in bright daylight this was obvious to see). I was very happy with the end result, even if it did require a little extra effort.
